In celebration of World Polio Day, the Rotary Club of Central Pampanga, represented by President Jon Kevin Pilea, attended a special talk hosted by the Rotary Club of Western Pampanga, led by President Shelner Songco, focusing on “What and How to Eradicate Polio.”
The session featured three meaningful perspectives in the fight against polio:
💜 A Polio Survivor shared a personal experience, reminding everyone of the lasting impact of this preventable disease.
💉 A Guest Speaker from the Rural Health Unit of Guagua discussed polio, the importance of vaccination, and ongoing immunization efforts to protect communities.
🌐 PDG Jess Nicdao shared the history of Rotary’s global campaign against polio and its continuing commitment to eradicating the disease worldwide.
Through awareness, vaccination, and collective action, Rotary continues to bring us closer to a polio-free world. Together, we create lasting impact—one community and one child at a time.
